The Sinking Spring
Using the musical score of the motion picture, Lincoln, set against the back drop of his actual birthplace was an ethereal experience for me. Editing this short was spiritually gratifying to say the least. Abraham Lincoln is undoubtedly the first US President most of us ever learned about in our youth. The Sinking Spring reminds me of the words recorded 2,000 years ago in Revelation. "They will never go hungry or be thirsty again, and the sun will not beat down on them, nor any burning heat, because the Lamb in the middle of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to springs of living water, and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”
