Meeting Mila
Meeting Mila is a perfect example of a style I employ in capturing life at its most personal and intimate best. Mila was a 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier whose owner is seen here retrieving her remains. Her owner had no idea she was being recorded at any time, which in turn allowed her to be at her most vulnerable and beautiful self. This short, shot on an iPhone, is dedicated to the loss of my own dog, Audrey. She was a 12 year old Miniature Schnauzer when she went missing earlier this year. I love you, Audrey.
